There will be little mention if any of this event 43 years ago today, but 2 churchmen had the courage and humility to engage in discussions that none had been willing or able to do in 500 years.
Both men laid the seeds towards re-union that is still an unrealized event. But we are all better off for their efforts. Blessed be their memory.
